I've never had a bad meal here! Food is smoking hot, buns are fresh. Everything is made fresh to order. Nothing sits under heat lamps waiting for the next customer. Service is so friendly. Thank you for another great meal.

Love Sam's grill, the food is of excellent quality. Unfortunately, the poutine portion sizes have shrunk so much that it's just not worth it anymore. I don't blame them, inflation has been cruel to everyone. We just won't be able to get takeout anymore.

My family is from Nova Scotia and we used to get donair from Halifax sonair in Milton but since they're gone I haven't had daonair until I found Sam's grill, and I'm so happy they use Halifax donair sauce 🤤

I remember when there was just one location in Guelph and I used to travel there just for food quality and quantity. How things have changed, I understand inflation but today's service was far from great.I got 2 combo 7s and upgraded fries to the poutine came to over $50. The poutine sizing is wayyyyy smaller hardly any gravy....It's sad because I truly used to enjoy this place.

The Mango milkshake is unreal! We also had some delicious poutine and a super juicy flavorful smoked meat sandwich. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend stopping in for a bite to eat. We wanted to try a new place we hadn't been to before. Are we ever glad we did. The service was great. The food was fantastic. We will be returning for sure.

Had a burger and poutine, taste was like your typical good burger and fries and it came out fast and hot.Service was great! Was undecided on what exactly I wanted to order but both workers came over and explained the menu and offered their recommendations.

Excellent food. I have never been here before got the burger and poutine. Daughter got the smoked meat sandwich and fries. Both were delicious, hot and flavourful. We will be back. Staff was super nice too.

This place is exceptional. Food was excellent, hot and fresh. Staff was amazing. I mentioned how nice a sandwich looked on another table and it turns out it was not on the menu, but their lunch. Next thing you know I have one to try, and it was great as well. Its rare to see fantastic pride and customer service these days but here that was the case from start to finish. Looking forward to our next visits!.

The owner of the store is very conceited and rude. I went to deliver for a delivery service. He questioned why I did not have a bag. He also said that he will not give me the food to bring to the customer because I don’t have one . Asked me why I don’t have a bag said it cost a lot of money and I’m new. He replied “ you’re making money from this aren’t you” “ I invested in this store and that’s why I make money so you need to invest in the bag “ he said very rudely with an unkind look in his face. I did not have a bag as it is not required for certain restaurants and the service does not require it for this restaurant.

consistently good food and friendly staff. food is cooked fresh to order and served hot. tables are kept clean. normally no lineup. they bring the food to you at your seat after ordering. staff offer better service then the guelph store - i will probably stick to this store going forward. try the poutine!

Great poutines & great options for sides as well! The fiesta poppers were great! Really enjoyed the portion of each meal! Very satisfying! Their shakes were good too!! The staff at Cambridge location are very friendly! Must visit!

Honestly I’m shocked the burgers are great here even for a steep price. However if I were to give a negative I had trouble finding a seat in the booths that were wiped down properly. I heard previous complaints from friends that their poutines were very salty, well I got news for you they came to me unseasoned which is great because I get to salt them myself. They’re good by the way perfectly crispy slightly more brown for a deeper flavour than your regular fries so I’d imagine the poutine would be good the crispness may be present even with some gravy all over it. Double bacon cheese burger I got is great.
